​  Besides the Gods we also honor the síogaí, the Fair Folk, beings of the Otherworld. These beings are able to give good luck, health, and blessings, or conversely to cause bad luck, sickness, or curse people if offended. We honor them to show respect and to maintain a good relationship with them. Our beliefs relating to the Good Neighbors is heavily influenced by the living Irish culture and the modern Fairy Faith and it is important to understand these beliefs in this context.
